Production based on 51 robotic injection molding machines

Frilux operates 51 injection molding machines equipped with robots. Their clamping force ranges from 50 to 1,050 tons. The available machinery can produce plastic parts weighing from 0.5 to 2,220 grams. This range covers both small technical components and larger elements intended for demanding industrial applications.

The company also uses 2K injection molding. This technology enables two materials or two colours to be combined in a single production process. It is suitable for parts that require different surface properties, flexibility levels or visual finishes within one component.

Overmolding expands these possibilities by applying an additional material layer to an existing part. The method may be used to create handles, seals, protective surfaces or areas requiring improved grip. It can also reduce the number of separate components needed during final assembly.

More than 166 million parts manufactured in one year

The scale of production is reflected in the company’s results. In 2021, Frilux converted plastic resin into more than 166 million components. The manufactured products included elements for smart gardening systems, household solutions and equipment used in power generation.

Pad printing enables decoration of complex surfaces

The printing process can be integrated with injection molding, which simplifies production planning. Finished parts can be manufactured, inspected and decorated within one coordinated workflow. This helps reduce additional transport and handling between separate suppliers.

Injection molds are essential to the quality and repeatability of plastic components. Frilux performs regular inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of injection molding tools.
